Ammirati leads Elite Men
Ammirati produced the fastest overall time in the Elite Men competition, completing the two heats in 9:09.68. The Italian finished first in both heats, recording 4:31.40 and 4:38.28.
Hungary’s Mark Rescsik took second place in 9:29.13, while Great Britain’s Kieran Duffy completed the podium in 9:30.95.
Germany’s Luca Göhmann was fourth in 9:41.04, followed by Switzerland’s Daniel Bienz in 9:48.70.

Schmidt dominates Elite Women
Germany’s Kerstin Schmidt won the Elite Women competition with a combined time of 10:30.57, also finishing first in both heats.
Great Britain took the next two places, with Emily Shawyer finishing second in 11:00.94 and Erin Throgmorton-Appleby third in 11:47.35. Switzerland’s Sabrina Humbel and Ramona Elsener placed fourth and fifth respectively.

In Final 2, Germany’s Julian Knoll finished first in 4:51.23, followed by compatriot Matti Kussmaul and Great Britain’s Nathaniel Salvatore.
