The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) has officially invited all Member Federations to register their delegates for the ISSF General Assembly 2026, which will take place on 13 and 14 December 2026 in Rome, Italy.
The General Assembly will open at 10:00 CET on 13 December. A consultative workshop for registered delegates will also take place on 12 December, providing an opportunity to discuss matters related to the General Assembly and the future development of the ISSF.
Online registration for delegates
For the first time, the ISSF has introduced an online registration platform for Member Federation delegates. The platform will allow delegates to complete the required registration procedures and access information relating to travel and accommodation.Detailed instructions on how to use the platform are available in Annex 1.
The online platform is mandatory for all delegates and forms part of the ISSF's wider digitalisation project.
Member Federations are encouraged to register their delegates as early as possible to support travel arrangements, accommodation bookings and accreditation procedures.
Delegates and voting rights
Under the ISSF Constitution, a maximum of two delegates per Member Federation may attend the General Assembly. Where two Member Federations represent the same country, one delegate per Federation is permitted.
Delegates must be the President, Vice-President, Secretary General, Executive Director or an Executive Committee/Board member of their Member Federation. Written proof of their appointment is required.
Member Federations representing one country have two votes, while Member Federations sharing representation of one country have one vote each. Proxy voting is not permitted. Only Full Members are entitled to vote on items at the General Assembly.
ISSF support for delegates
The ISSF will cover the expenses of one delegate per Member Federation attending the General Assembly.
This includes an economy-class return flight, local transportation between the airport and hotel, and accommodation from 11 December, the official arrival date, to 15 December, the official departure date.
Member Federations are reminded that if travel, accommodation or transport has been booked by the ISSF and the Federation subsequently does not participate in the General Assembly, the ISSF may seek reimbursement of the costs incurred and any additional penalties.
Membership fees
Member Federations with outstanding 2026 membership fees are strongly encouraged to settle any open amounts.
The ISSF must receive outstanding payments no later than 15 October 2026. Failure to meet the membership fee requirements may result in suspension and the loss of membership rights, including voting rights at the General Assembly.
The ISSF looks forward to welcoming Member Federation delegates to Rome for the ISSF General Assembly 2026 and encourages all Federations to complete their registration at the earliest opportunity.
