Organised in cooperation with the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), the five-day course has brought together 12 participants from three Member Federations – India, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka – providing an important opportunity to enhance technical expertise and promote the consistent application of ISSF Rules across the region.
The course is being conducted by Nooruddin Alyasi (Bahrain), with assistance from Amar Jang Singh (India), combining international experience with local expertise to deliver comprehensive training for current and aspiring shotgun referees.
The programme officially opened with representatives of the NRAI welcoming participants and underlining the importance of referee education for the continued growth of shooting sport. The opening ceremony was attended by NRAI Secretary General Pawankumar Singh and NRAI Secretary Rajiv Kumar Bhatia.

As the course progresses throughout the week, participants are taking part in both theoretical and practical sessions designed to further develop their knowledge of ISSF Shotgun Rules and officiating procedures.
