ISSF Academy launches Competition Manager course to support Member Federations

The ISSF Academy has announced a new Competition Manager Course aimed at supporting Member Federations in the organisation of official competitions under the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF).

The course is designed to strengthen the operational capacity of federations by ensuring that competitions are managed by competent and skilled professionals, capable of overseeing the core organisational tasks required for ISSF events.

The programme will combine online learning and practical experience, providing participants with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on exposure during a major international event.

Course Structure

The course includes two phases:

Online Learning Phase

- 6 April – 17 May 2026
- Delivered through the ISSF Academy learning platform
- Includes 13 expert lectures, assignments and supporting educational materials

Live Learning Phase

- 24 – 27 May 2026
- Held during the ISSF World Cup Munich in Munich, Germany
- Includes lectures, practical learning sessions, accommodation and meals

The course fee is €1500 (including VAT 25.5%).

Registration

Member Federations and interested participants are invited to register by sending an email to info@issf-academy.com with the following information:

- Participant’s name
- Contact details
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Invoicing address

The registration deadline is 31 March 2026 at 15:00 CET.

A minimum of 10 participants is required for the course to take place. If the minimum number is reached, the ISSF Academy learning platform will open on 3 April, and registered participants will receive access links via email.

The welcome lecture is scheduled for 6 April at 11:00 CET, marking the official start of the programme.
