International Women’s Day highlights inclusion across sport. In your view, what does inclusion mean in precision sport?
Inclusion in precision sport means knowing that when we step onto the firing line, we stand there as equals. In 10m air pistol, it’s not about strength — it’s about focus, courage, and belief. Inclusion means every girl with a dream gets the same chance to hold a pistol, aim high, and feel that she belongs.
As an elite athlete, how have you experienced the evolution of opportunities for women in shooting sport?
I’ve seen the change not just in rules, but in respect. Women are no longer seen as participants — we are champions, record holders, leaders. The platform has grown, and so has the confidence of young girls who now believe this sport is truly theirs too.

What message would you give to young girls considering entering shooting sport?
Your dreams are valid. This sport rewards patience, discipline, and mental strength — qualities you already carry within you. Start without fear. Stay consistent. One shot at a time, you can build a world-class journey.
How do mixed team events contribute to a sense of equality and shared responsibility in competition?
Mixed team events show that success has no gender. We share the pressure, the responsibility, and the pride. It’s a beautiful reminder that excellence is built together.

How important is visibility of women in leadership positions for the next generation?
When young girls see women leading — as coaches, officials, decision-makers — they see possibility. Representation turns dreams into plans.
Looking ahead, what priorities should shape the future of inclusion in international shooting sport?
We must invest in grassroots access, safe environments, and mentorship. Inclusion isn’t just about medals — it’s about creating a sport where every girl feels confident enough to dream big. As a 10m Air Pistol World Champion, I carry not just my medal, but the hopes of the next generation
